In a small village nestled in the mountains, the body of a hanging girl is discovered in an old school building in the quiet, rustic village. The girl’s name was Kaede Kirishima. Before the incident, she had confided her feelings to her childhood friend Aoi Takanashi. Aoi remembers Kaede’s pouting face, laughter, and the afterglow of their intertwined acts. A certain doubt crosses Aoi’s mind, and she becomes convinced that Kaede was killed by someone. Aoi decides to take action.
One day, Aoi is summoned by a mysterious transfer student, Ajisai Minazuki, who had been isolated in the classroom.
